Tell it what you do
Your trade, your area, and the words people use when they’re looking for you. “Plumber”, “blocked drain”, “hot water”. Takes a couple of minutes.

Point it at where they ask
Subreddits by name, Facebook groups by URL. Reddit is checked from our servers around the clock. Facebook groups are checked from your own Chrome: a small extension reads the groups you’re already a member of, so your Facebook login never leaves your browser. It needs a Chrome window open to do its checks.

Every 15 minutes (30 on Starter), new posts are read and scored. If someone’s asking for what you do, you get an SMS and an email with the post and a link straight to it. Reply in the thread, or let LeadMonitor draft one for you.

Questions
How does it find leads?
Every 15 to 60 minutes, depending on your plan, it fetches new posts from the subreddits and Facebook groups you've added, reads each one, and decides whether the person is asking for a service like yours. If they are, you get a text and an email with a link to the post.
Does LeadMonitor see my Facebook or Reddit login?
No. Reddit is read from our servers with no account at all. Facebook groups are read by a Chrome extension in your own browser, using the session you're already logged into. Your password never leaves your machine; we only receive the text of the posts the extension finds.
Does my computer need to be on?
For Reddit, no. For Facebook groups, yes: the extension needs a Chrome window open to check them. Some people leave one open on the office PC; some run Chrome on a $6-a-month cloud machine so it's always on.
Will I get a lot of junk?
Some gets through. Each match comes with a 0–100 score and the reason it matched, so you can tell a real request from a discussion at a glance, and you can tighten your keywords in a minute if a source is noisy.
What if there are no leads in my area?
People ask for recommendations every day in local subreddits and community groups. If you're on a paid plan and haven't seen a lead after 30 days, get in touch and we'll help you find better sources or refund you.
How does the trial work?
Pick a plan and start the 14 days. It renews monthly unless you cancel in Settings before it ends. Setup time counts toward the 14 days, so add your sources on day one.
